Meanwhile in Canada, A minivan wakes up ...

Cheezy title, but thought I'd share my interesting find... I bought a 2020 PacHy in Dec '20, and it came with "Mopar EVTS" installed from the factory. Basically a GPS and cellphone system for location tracking and logging basic car data. I've had these before, but not factory installed. I only registered it today, and lo-and-behold it's been logging all the trips from its first "wake-up", way up in Windsor, Ontario, Canada at the factory, at 10:21am on August 20, 2020 to be precise... Parksence Symbol?

Is anyone familiar with the attached icon? I'm pretty sure it's somehow related to park sense but I'm not sure what it's trying to tell me. Its not like the symbols that move around the car when you get too close. It seems to inadvertently pop on/off at slow speed but that's all I'm able to relate it to so far.

Not liking the sound from the Harman Kardon

Overall very happy with my 2021 Pacifica Limited hybrid and just went on a very enjoyable trip, but the stereo really disappoints. It feels like despite all the speakers it needs a subwoofer, not for more base, bit because they are trying to squeeze base out of speakers that can't cleanly produce it. It just sounds harsh. I have played with the pitiful 3 channels we have to work with and have slightly improved it from painful to bad. Are there hidden settings I am not aware of or any other... Charging speed behaving differently on my 2021

Had a 2020 and it would immediately charge at the full 6.6kW when plugged in to a capable charger (including the one in my garage). Now that we have a 2021, it's not. The charging starts at about 5.95~ kW and slowly ramps up over time. Doesn't really reach 6.6 kW until it's almost fully charged. Only thing I could think of would maybe be temperature related, but it's parked inside, and I've experienced this even after driving the vehicle and charging numerous times throughout the day when... Engine repair needed with less than 100 miles on the odometer!

So we just found out that my wife's new Limited Hybrid needs rods and lifters and the noise that we complained about since we first heard the engine run is related to major repairs. I have so many questions for Chrysler on how a new car can be delivered with a busted motor? I have never run into a situation like this with a brand new vehicle with so few miles. I have no confidence in the vehicles reliability now. Has anyone run into a similar situation?

Uconnect 5 features

Buyer beware! The software for uconnect 5 is incomplete and you will not have access to features. Some future update will allow you to use the tri climate control system, whenever Chrysler gets around to it. Right now we purchased the 2021 pinnacle hybrid with uconnect 5, tri climate control. We only have hi or lo setting available and only driver control. Customer care said it is a software update and sorry to hear you are inconvenienced but you will have to wait. No ECD given or... Moonroof Standard or Optional on Limited trim of Hybrid Pac?

So I'm smitten by the gigantic Tri-Pane Moonroof, but I'm also confused by a few different listings I am seeing for the Limited Hybrid Pacificas I have looked up at dealers. Some list it as an option on the window sticker, and some list it as standard equipment. What gives? My sweet spot right now is a limited with the Safety package and UConnect theater packages added on, Moonroof standard.

Scariest Error Message Ever - Stop Safely Vehicle Will Shut Off Soon

HI all. Doing a keyword search, I see only one or two references to this scary error message in the forums. Which is odd, because my 2020 Hybrid Limited has thrown it twice in its young, sub-5,000 mile life. The first time I saw it about a month ago, the fault cleared itself and I was able to I drive it to a dealer. Since they couldn't replicate the fault they performed three software updates (EMMB, HCP, and PCM) and sent me on my way. This weekend, the error message came up and took the... Is it okay to never plug in the Pacifica Hybrid?

I live in MA and my town's electric rates are $0.19317 per kWh. By my calculations, it's cheaper for me to run in Hybrid-only mode all the time than to charge the battery. Granted, gas prices may increase in the future. But for now, is it okay to never plug it in or is it necessary to plug in on some frequency?
