Remote start not working when cold weather

My van did not started when using remote start button on the remote. When I went in the car to push the button start/stop it started but it made a really bad noise like if the engine/transmission was breaking a cube of ice. The EV cable was not plugged in so don't know if it would have helped. I'm not using the van as much these days but I use it every two days approx. Could it be the 12V battery voltage that dropped ? When using remote start is it only the 12V battery power used to start... Remote start not working when cold weather

21 Pinnacle, a few initial observations

I just swapped my 2018 for a 2021 Pinnacle. Lousy photo for proof that it happened... Hybrid - to Extend, or Not to Extend the Warranty?

Soon to be new Pacifica Hybrid owner. Have twins on the way, plus a dog, and likely a 3rd adult moving in with us in a year or two. And we drive our elderly grandparents around from time to time. Our previous "big" Mazda CX-5 could move the kids (barely) but it felt like not much more, and certainly not with additional adults (adding the dog in too would've been hard enough). So alas, my Mazda 3 is getting traded in and our CX-5 will become our "small car" / my commuter / backup kid-mobile... Hybrid - to Extend, or Not to Extend the Warranty?

Should there be a difference in Break in Period?

Break-in periods are considerations for petro driven engines. The plug in Pacifica is engineered to use the battery primarily in the first 33 miles and then the hybrid mode starts in with the dominance of the gas driven engine providing the energy source. So the gas engine doesn't get heated up and run until half-way through the first 60 miles that the manual states. It is timed to run more toward efficiency and not power as it is geared to generator and or electric motor to provide the... Should there be a difference in Break in Period?

2021 pinnacle interior in person

I think this interior looks very elegant and rich . The colour combination with black accents , black suede headliner , black doors and platinum chrome exterior pieces make it look very elegant .

Wind noise and road noise at highway speeds?

I'm still tossing around buying one of these, but it's super tough to locate decent shape 2018 or 2019 models around the metro Atlanta area. For the actual 2018 or 2019 owners, what's the road noise and/or wind noise like at highway speeds?

Two different Hybrid limited base models for 2021?

I was at a dealer and noticed that they had two different limiteds with 2 different base prices, so I took down the VINs. One, with a VDS of RC1S71, does not have the tri-panel sunroof and lists it as an option for $2,995. This one's base price is 45,370. One, with a VDS of RC1S76, has a higher base price of 45,845 but includes the tri-panel sunroof. It seems like a no-brainer to pick the one with the higher base price unless you want to delete the sunroof altogether, but has anyone else... Two different Hybrid limited base models for 2021?

2018 Hybrid won’t start - check engine, flashing D/R

After about 17K miles and 15 months of reliable service, our 2018 Hybrid died about 1000 miles from home while we're on vacation. Everything seems normal when getting into the car (UConnect screen, dash, etc.) but upon stepping on the brake and hitting Start the car will say something like "Press brake and hit button to start" and the shifter either will not turn, or will turn but the D or R will flash on the dash and shifter dial. Tried multiple on/off cycles. Based on posts here we tried... 2018 Hybrid won't start - check engine, flashing D/R

Where's the sunroof?

Our local dealer had a 2021 Limited that we jumped on this past week to get the federal incentive in time for the 2020 tax year. We did all the negotiation over email and things seemed great. Yesterday my wife went down to the dealer to sign the papers and came home with the van. It has no sunroof and 17" wheels, even though the Chrysler website (which we were basing our discussions on yesterday) says that Limited trim models have the sunroof and 18" wheels standard. I'm very confused and... Where's the sunroof?
