瀚慖f greater than the specified range, test the circuit for a short to voltage.

13. Ignition OFF, test for infinite resistance between the high circuit terminals listed below and ground.

* Driver steering wheel air bag coil connector Stage 1 terminal A X1

* Driver steering wheel air bag coil connector Stage 2 terminal A X2

瀚慖f less than the specified value, test the circuit for a short to ground.

14. Test for infinite resistance between the low circuit terminals listed below and ground.

* Driver steering wheel air bag coil connector Stage 1 terminal B X1

* Driver steering wheel air bag coil connector Stage 2 terminal B X2

瀚慖f less than the specified value, test the circuit for a short to ground.

15. Test for less then 1 ohm between the SDM connector and the air bag connector high circuit terminals listed below.

* Driver steering wheel air bag coil connector Stage 1 terminal A X1 and SDM terminal 4 X1.

* Driver steering wheel air bag coil connector Stage 2 terminal A X2 and SDM terminal 1 X1.

瀚慖f greater than the specified range, test the circuit for an open/high resistance.

16. Test for less then 1 ohm between the SDM connector and the air bag connector low circuit terminals listed below.

* Driver steering wheel air bag coil connector Stage 1 terminal B X1 and SDM terminal 3 X1

* Driver steering wheel air bag coil connector Stage 2 terminal B X2 and SDM terminal 2 X1

瀚慖f greater than the specified range, test the circuit for an open/high resistance.

17. If all circuits test normal, replace the SDM.
