Buy or lease

Looking for advice on whether to buy or lease the Pacifica Hybrid. The general guideline for leasing as I understand it is if we plan to drive the car for more than 5 years, it's worth buying. We are intending to drive it for 8+ years, but are also interested in swapping for the full electric version when that comes out in 2025. Thoughts?

How often are you changing gas?

Potential Pacifica owner here. I see a bunch of posts about mileage so I'll ask the question in a different way: Given a relatively consistent routine and daily recharging at home, how often do you need to refuel at the pump? We're estimating ~100 miles per week of driving, mostly commuting / child dropoff on flat roads, half highway / half city. Hoping that the weekday driving will mostly be covered by electric, and then dipping into hybrid on weekends.

We have a 2019 Pacifica Hybrid, and really like the vehicle... but we learned something new about it on a recent trip through Death Valley. towing

I just received my 2022 Pinnacle Hybrid (took 5 months). I have searched and cannot find any good reason why towing is a problem. Is there a good engineering reason why towing is not allowed on the hybrid? Before I commit to installing a hitch I am wondering why Chrysler says you cannot tow with the hybrid. Sure seems to have plenty of power.

New clicking noise and increased charging rate after service

Just got the van back from having the ECH replaced. We now have a new clicking noise, similar to a relay noise when the gas pedal moved quickly in either direction. ie when accelerating or decelerating. It appears to be coming from inside. The other thing I noticed is that it now charges at 29.6 amps whereas before it was nearer 28, and we have intermittent charging issues now. It will stop charging mid cycle . The error is service charging system , then we just unplug and plug the charger... New clicking noise and increased charging rate after service

2021 Pacifica Hybrid Whining/Screeching Stereo

Our Pacifica has had intermittent issues with the stereo intermittently making static sounds. A few days ago it was so doing this when we turned the car off, then it started making a clarinet or bagpipe like sound that we could not stop. It quit on its own when the stereo timed out after one minute. Now when we turn the car on it makes a constant screeching sound that we can sometimes turn down or sometimes have to power off head unit.
